The Meridian Review

A Journal of Philosophy, Politics, Literature, and Contemporary Critique. An independent intellectual space devoted to rigorous thought, cultural analysis, and long-form reflection.

Background and Objectives

The Meridian Review was founded with the intention of creating an independent intellectual platform capable of resisting the acceleration, superficiality, and fragmentation of contemporary public discourse.

The journal brings together philosophical reflection, political analysis, literary criticism, and cultural commentary in order to cultivate a form of thought that is historically grounded, theoretically rigorous, and stylistically ambitious.

In an age increasingly dominated by ideological polarization and algorithmic simplification, the journal seeks to defend the value of careful reading, conceptual precision, and serious criticism.

We welcome contributions from scholars, essayists, critics, translators, and independent writers whose work demonstrates originality, intellectual courage, and stylistic clarity.
